Carrie Coon and Lily James Team Up with Bella Ramsey and Odessa Young in Guy Nattiv’s Thriller ‘Harmonia,’ Greenlit by Bleecker Street for U.S. Release

Carrie Coon from “The White Lotus” and actress Lily James of “Pam and Tommy” fame will be starring alongside Bella Ramsey and Odessa Young in director Guy Nattiv’s forthcoming psychological thriller titled “Harmonia.”

Bleecker Street — which put out Nattiv’s “Golda” in 2023 — has obtained the U.S. distribution rights for the movie and intends to debut it across the country’s cinemas in 2026.

Created by Nattiv (who was nominated for an Oscar with his short film “Skin”) and Noa Berman-Herzberg, “Harmonia” takes place in the 1980s and draws inspiration from Nattiv’s grandmother’s brush with a sinister sect. Coon plays Rita, who, struggling with old traumas, crosses paths with a captivating young spiritual guide (played by James). Intrigued, she joins this female-only community called Harmonia, abandoning her former life and loved ones. It falls upon her daughters, Ella portrayed by Ramsey, and Jo played by Young, to undertake a perilous mission to save their mom. Upon entering the commune, however, they become entangled in the manipulative schemes orchestrated by the group’s enigmatic leader through a mix of false spirituality and mental coercion.

Julia Lebedev and Eddie Vaisman are handling production duties for Sight Unseen, alongside Jaime Ray Newman and Nattiv from New Native Pictures and Oren Moverman. Leonid Lebedev will take on the role of executive producer. International distribution rights are managed by Embankment Films. The negotiation was facilitated between CAA Media Finance and Range Select by Miranda King, Kent Sanderson, and Avy Eschenasy from Bleecker Street, while CAA and Range Media Partners continue to support the filmmakers involved. Filming is scheduled to start this coming summer.

“We are thrilled to collaborate once again with our colleague Guy on this deeply moving and highly personal project, building upon the success of ‘Golda,’” stated Kent Sanderson from Bleecker Street. “At Bleecker Street, we have full confidence that both him and his exceptional ensemble will provide audiences across the nation with an extraordinary cinematic journey next year.”

Nattiv added: “The narrative of Harmonia stems from the genuine tale of my grandmother—a lady whose subtle fortitude and silent suffering etched an enduring impression upon our kin. Her account lingered in obscurity for decades until finally finding expression through me. It’s truly heartening to work with such spiritually attuned partners as Carrie, Lily, Bella, and Odessa. They each infuse profound, instinctive elegance into their complex roles, and their dedication to sharing this story moves me immensely.”

Coon is represented by United Talent Agency, Foundation Talent Management, and lawyer Peikoff Mahan. James, meanwhile, is represented by Tavistock Wood Management, Independent Talent Group, and UTA.
