Jill Barbarulo, the owner, confirmed that Paterson was shut down on May 6 for a film shoot.

The establishment remained shut down for just one day before reopening on May 7. The filming took place throughout the entire day at the dining venue.

The proprietor of Patsy’s was unable to reveal the particular movie that had been shot at her establishment. Nonetheless, she mentioned that the film in question was not the recent Netflix production featuring Robert De Niro titled “Whisper Man.”

Jill Barbarulo and her husband stayed at her restaurant all day while the movie was filmed at Patsy’s. She met the director and producers but while they filmed she let the team work their magic and didn’t speak to the actors between sets.

Filming at the Paterson restaurant contributes to the extensive roster of movies shot in New Jersey. The previous year saw an active period with numerous films being produced within the state. These include productions like
“Happy Gilmore 2,”
