A new
film being shot in Milwaukee
featuring Kevin Spacey wrapped on at Uncle Wolfie’s on May 8.
During the ESPN Wisconsin broadcast on the morning of May 9, Craig Karmazin, the founder of Good Karma Brands, shared with the hosts that he had been an additional cast member in the last scene filmed at the downtown diner featuring Spacey along with actress Frances Fisher, known for portraying Kate Winslet’s mother in “Titanic.”
Karmazin stated that the one-minute scene was filmed between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m. Additionally, he mentioned going to a Bucks game with Spacey a couple of weeks prior.

The city records indicate that the filmmakers secured permissions to film at Broadway and Michigan from May 6 to 8. However, they received special event permits for blocking off East Reservoir Avenue from April 14 to 17. Additionally, filming occurred within an unoccupied industrial facility managed by Phoenix Investors located on North Lydell Avenue in Glendale.
There isn’t much information available regarding the storyline and casting details, however, actor and Whitefish Bay local Michael Roman, who is helming the project, shared with Glendale authorities a fundamental concept for the movie: “The final Department of Motor Vehicles in what was once the United States.”
A staff member from Uncle Wolfie’s who answered the call mentioned they were informed about the filming but did not possess any further details regarding it.
Neither Karmazin nor Spacey’s managing producer for the film was unavailable for comments at first contact.
About two years past, Spacey was
acquitted in
a
high-profile sexual abuse
criminal trial
in 2023. The actor still faces two
British lawsuits
alleging sexual abuse.
