, their upcoming project for Mubi, set to begin filming in British Columbia this summer.

The horror series is being rebooted once more. However, when the newest installment’s director develops an obsession with the enigmatic and withdrawn lead actress from the first movie—who portrayed the iconic “final girl”—a fresh breed of terror rises from the depths of the lake.
Producing Plan B is currently underway. Daniel Bekerman of Scythia Films is serving as executive producer and will offer his expertise for local production support. Mubi is funding the movie and plans to handle distribution across specific regions such as North America, Latin America, the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Benelux, Turkey, India, Australia, and New Zealand. Meanwhile, The Match Factory will oversee the sale rights for the rest of the world.
“I create films that I wished were around during my childhood,” Schoenbrun stated.
