“Honey Don’t” stars Qualley as a private investigator looking into strange deaths that are linked to a cultish church, led by Evans.

Plaza and the death of her husband

In January of this year, Plaza’s husband,
Jeff Baena,
passed away due to suicide. They had been living apart for quite a while, having separated back in September.

Nevertheless, they stayed in touch just prior to his passing, with Plaza informing the authorities that she had gotten a message from him three hours before he was discovered deceased in his flat.

Plaza and Baena’s families were united in their bond.
