Bloodlines Revives the Franchise’s Legendary Log Truck for Its Highly Anticipated Film Release

With just seven days left before
Final Destination: Bloodlines
hits theatres,
Warner Bros. Pictures Canada
is commemorating with a vehicle that has altered numerous on-road behaviors since the launch of the sequel.

Final Destination: Bloodlines
The sixth installment in the continuing Final Destination horror series, with Warner Bros. once more attempting to prevent Canadian motorists from feeling at ease while driving.

For those new to the series, the second installment in the franchise (
Final Destination 2
) featured an iconic,
terrifying scene
It featured congested conditions on a busy freeway—which can be particularly stressful for many motorists—and a truck carrying wood that was worryingly inadequately tied down. As events progress, every possible mishap does indeed happen. Numerous fatalities result from the pandemonium ensuing after timber starts tumbling from the rear of the lorry. A striking moment involves a log bursting through a windscreen and fatally impaling the occupant in the front seat.

This is the fear Warner Bros. Pictures Canada aims to revive with their newest project.
Final Destination: Bloodlines
For the ad campaign marking the film’s debut on May 16, a blood-spattered logging truck will traverse key highways and city centers in Ontario and Quebec. This promotional vehicle will hit the roads starting today, May 9, continuing through Victoria Day on May 19. Motorists who spot the truck will likely see a humorous bumper sticker at the rear that playfully queries, “How’s my driving?”

Final Destination Bloodlines utilizes the same formula as the previous films in the franchise. College student Stefanie has a vision that pre-empts certain death in a horrific accident and prevents tragedy. A series of unsuspecting accidents “target” survivors for what Death itself is owed, their lives.

Final Destination: Bloodlines
Stars include Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, and Anna Lore, alongside Brec Bassinger and Tony Todd. Directed by Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky, the screenplay was written by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor, based on a story conceived by Jon Watts, Guy Busick, and Lori Evans Taylor.

Final Destination Bloodlines
opens in theaters on May 16.
