Compared to the previous week, both metrics saw declines: total viewers dropped by 3%, and the 18-49 demographic fell by 7%. Although “NXT” attracted fewer viewers this week than usual, it still managed a slight increase of 1% in overall viewership since May 2024. However, this positive trend did not extend to the younger adult demographic; ratings have slipped by 20% compared to this period last year. Additionally, “NXT” faced tough competition from major sporting events such as the NHL and NBA playoffs on Tuesday nights, which were highly rated within the 18-49 demographic during their broadcasts.
The highlights of the show posted on YouTube also garnered significant attention.
