The film is set for a theater debut beginning June 6, screening at various cinemas throughout the U.S., and will additionally premiere in over 250 theaters across Japan courtesy of Nikkatsu Corporation.

Nadia: The Mysterious Blueprint of Azure Waters
The movie tracks Ryusuke, a middle school student residing in Tokyo. Over his summer break, he travels to Tokushima and reconnects with his young cousin, Tomomi. While exploring together at the Anabuki River during their day out, they find themselves caught up in the rapid flow of water. As they descend towards the riverbed, a dragon emerges, saves both of them, and transports them to meet a peculiar elderly individual.
The elderly man informs Ryusuke and Tomomi that they have passed away, yet offers to restore them to life if they venture into the spiritual realm and discover their purpose. Despite being bewildered by these revelations, Ryusuke and Tomomi opt to embark upon their expedition to the spiritual plane. Upon arrival, they find themselves in a somber town reminiscent of the 1960s atmosphere. Shortly thereafter, they encounter horrifying events unfolding sequentially. They witness terrified outlaws slaying each other and medical practitioners disfiguring patients. Individuals meet death only to resurrect once more. Realizing they might be trapped in an infernal dimension, Ryusuke and Tomomi press onward with their quest. Their odyssey extends further still, traversing realms such as Shambhala and beyond. Can they uncover their destined roles and reclaim mortality?

The film originates from an exclusive narrative crafted by Ryuho Okawa, who takes on the role of Executive Producer. It was brought to life through production company IRH Productions located in Japan. Among the starring roles are Japanese performers such as Yusuke Kobayashi, Chinatsu Hirose, Shigeru Chiba, Tetsuo Komura, Rica Fukami, and Masumi Asano. For those watching the English-dubbed edition, notable voice artists include Zach Aguilar, Ren Holly Liu, Rick Zieff, Brook Chalmers, Wendee Lee, and Valerie Arem.
