hints at what’s coming next following that cliffhanger, talks about the revelation earlier in the season regarding Danielle Savre portraying Sir’s sister, and delves into many other topics.

Lena has abducted Jamie. Can you hint at how Gabi and Margaret might react to this situation?

Shanola Hampton:

We’ve witnessed Margaret shedding tears and becoming emotionally vulnerable multiple times, and now viewers can experience her transformation into full-on protective “mama bear” mode—an exhilarating shift following numerous emotional collapses throughout the series. This return to form between Margaret and Gabi feels well-deserved as we reflect on their journey over time and how far they’ve come working side-by-side towards common goals—such as searching for Jamie who was abducted once more. However, the show doesn’t shy away from inflicting additional psychological distress; despiteJamiealready suffering an abduction, he faces another one here. Meanwhile,GabiMosley endures further torment including being held hostage before finding herself amidst chaos during a prison riot. Each episode seems intent on pushing our limits even when familiar stressors resurface. Despite all of these intense elements though, the thrilling climax leaves us breathless yet eagerly anticipating what comes next.

What additional hints can you share regarding the final episode?

As we hurtle toward the climax like passengers on a wildly careening train, things feel completely out of control. Gabi manages every twist and turn, yet everything reaches a critical point. This conclusion will likely surprise the audience since it leaves them wondering about what happens next. It’s such an unpredictable situation. Remember after Season 1 when Sir left the basement—everyone questioned their direction going forward. Then came the wild ride of Season 2, leaving us asking ourselves anew: Now that Gabi has moved ahead, where does this story take us now? Such uncertainty can be utterly mind-bending.

How did you feel about the introduction of Lena in the show and the manner in which it was done? Since when had you realized that Heather was actually Lena?

From the start, I had an idea about whom it would turn out to be since we got a general overview, making me aware of this fact. But wow! When you anticipate the arrival of a character and then witness how someone as talented as Danielle brings her to life, it feels truly enchanting. Her acting skills are remarkable; she masterfully portrayed every nuance, seductiveness, toughness, and madness with finesse. The scenes featuring Gabi and Lena were particularly enjoyable, showcasing their dynamic beyond Gabi and Heather—a delight both for us actors and viewers alike. This became clear quite early on. Moreover, didn’t Danielle fit seamlessly alongside our esteemed colleague? Just looking at them together, one could sense the familial chemistry—truly impeccable casting choices throughout.

What are Sir and Lena currently doing?

What I understand clearly is this: Unlike Sir, Lena is fiercely determined like a dog with a bone and despises Gabi. The reason being that the affection Sir shows towards Gabi is exactly what Lena desires from him. Thus, her sole objective is to bring Gabi down. This stands in stark contrast to Sir’s aim, as his desire is to escape with Gabi. He wishes for Lena’s assistance solely so they can both be together, whereas Lena merely aims to eliminate Gabi entirely. Although tense, their motivations differ significantly, making it quite intriguing.

In Gabi’s view, who poses a greater threat—Sir or Lena? One is familiar like an old demon, while the other is unpredictable.

Certainly, Lena. She managed to accomplish what many cannot—remaining unnoticed by Gabi for an extended period. This demonstrates she is quite perceptive. Recognizing that things were slightly amiss and tempering her pride likely played significant roles in maintaining this secrecy rather than focusing on Trent.
Brett Dalton
], yet truly, consider what she managed to accomplish—being at Gabi’s place, imagine everything that happened there. When you look back at all those flashback scenes showcasing her actions, with Christian present, [
Michael Cassidy
It’s somewhat unclear, but certainly could have made a difference. Since Lena acts like a dog with a bone—uncontrollable and unchecked—she becomes utterly insane, truly outlandish, and harbors an intense hatred for Gabi, making her far more perilous.

Is there any possibility for Gabi and Trent to have a future together?

I’m unsure about this. In my opinion, Gabi isn’t ready for a relationship right now. It seems extremely unjust for Trent, who has suffered due to both Gabi and Heather/Lena. It would be better for him to find someone gentle and nurturing, perhaps even a kind-hearted schoolteacher or an affectionate bank employee, who could genuinely care for him without complications. With regard to Gabi and Trent, their situation almost feels as though they’ll only meet again in another life. Gabi is painfully conscious of not burdening others with her issues, and out of deep concern for Trent, she definitely wants to avoid doing that to him.
