Glen Powell’s Barnstorm Adds Ryan Schwartz & Jacquelina Rosso

EXCLUSIVE

:Barnstorm, the newly established production company founded by Glen Powell and Dan Cohen, has welcomed Ryan Schwartz and Jacquelina Rosso into their team in fresh capacities, as Efwebecan reports exclusively.

Schwartz will serve as Vice President of Film & Television, with Rosso joining as CE. Both positions were highly sought after, we’re told, with Schwartz in particular beating out over 150 applicants.

Schwartz comes from Anonymous Content, where he has been employed for nearly nine years, most recently serving as the Vice President of Film & Television. While at the company, he executive-produced the forthcoming unnamed Christy Martin biography film featuring Sydney Sweeney and helmed by director David Michôd, currently in post-production with Black Bear Pictures. Additionally, Schwartz was responsible for developing and supervising various projects during his tenure.
Neuromancer
, the television series based on William Gibson’s groundbreaking science fiction book, along with

Rosso arrives from Walden Media, where she held the position of CEO across their film and television divisions. Prior to this role, she spent three years at 21 Laps, collaborating with Cohen on projects ranging from feature films to television shows; during this time, she advanced to become a coordinator. Rosso graduated from New York University and embarked on her professional journey at Sony Pictures.

In 2024, Powell initiated Barnstorm and revealed earlier this year the inclusion of Cohen after signing an exclusive first-look agreement with Universal Pictures. Discussing their recent hires, they stated to Efwebe, “Our aim was to establish Barnstorm as a leader in Hollywood’s evolving landscape, and building a winning team has been essential for us. Both Ryan and Jacquelina have demonstrated exceptional taste, unwavering dedication, and outstanding credibility at such early stages in their careers. Adding these executive talents confirms our belief that Barnstorm will undoubtedly attract premier storytellers focused on crafting high-quality movies and top-notch TV shows.”

Envisioned as a premier venue for exceptional theater performances, Barnstorm has thus far been involved with notable projects such as Richard Linklater’s highly regarded Netflix film.
