Scarlett Johansson and Miles Teller Join Adam Driver in James Gray’s Upcoming ‘Paper Tiger’; Filming Set to Start Next Month with Cannes Sales Continuation

EXCLUSIVE:

James Gray is assembling another A-list cast for his next feature film,
Paper Tiger,
As per sources, Scarlett Johansson and Miles Teller are slated to star alongside Adam Driver in the forthcoming film.

Gray will both write and direct, with filming scheduled to begin next month in New Jersey. Johansson and Teller have taken over roles originally intended for Anne Hathaway and Jeremy Strong, who had to withdraw because of conflicting obligations.

The movie will be produced by Rodrigo Teixeira through his production company RT Features, along with Anthony Katagas from AK Productions, who frequently works together. Other producers involved are Raffaella Leone, Gary Farkas, Marco Perego, Carlo Salem, and Andrea Bucko. The executive producer team includes Lee Broda, Jeff Rice, Riccardo Maddalosso, and Emille Salveson.

Vincent Maraval and Kim Fox’s film “The Veterans” has TheVeterans for international sales, while CAA Media Finance is managing the NorthAmerican rights. Negotiations will carry on during the Cannesmarket.

The movie portrays a gripping narrative centered on two brothers chasing the American Dream, only to get ensnared in a plot that seems too promising to avoid. Amidst escalating peril in a realm marked by graft and brutality, they face vicious torment at the hands of the Russian Mafia. This ordeal strains their relationship, making what was once unimaginable—betrayal—a disturbing reality.

Sacker Entertainment Law is handling business affairs, production legal and finance legal for Paper Tiger.
