Jonathan Lipnicki’s Prayer for Career Redemption

Jonathan Lipnicki has shared a candid update about using the power of prayer to save his career.

The successful American actor, who was 34 years old at the time, began his career early as a young celebrity, starring in popular movies like Jerry Maguire and Stuart Little, along with several others.

However, his career slowed down in the following years—and in January, he maintained that he never truly “stepped away” from the limelight, instead becoming more dedicated to his school work.

On Wednesday, speaking with PEOPLE magazine, the actor from The Little Vampire stated, “It’s completely okay to admit I’m not satisfied with my career progression… Almost everything we attempt in our lives is incredibly challenging.”

He proceeded to clarify that he still has a strong dedication to the entertainment sector and intends to keep pursuing his career, stating, “It’s crucial to have faith that it will materialize and to exert every effort to move in the appropriate direction through proactive measures.”

Lipnicki mentioned that he declined five movie offers in the last year, stating, “I simply want to steer my career in a new direction.”

Indicating his hope for a heavenly indication, he continued, “Each evening I pray for guidance on my path, and I am certain better days lie ahead for me.”

It’s possible his wishes were granted since just hours following PEOPLE releasing their interview with him, he posted on Instagram to share that production was finished on a movie he had produced.

He stated, “We’re thrilled to share that we’ve completed filming for our movie Dog Years, a modern-day love story that delves into coming-of-age, self-discovery, and enduring affection throughout different life stages.”

He said, “A big thank you to our amazing crew, cast, and production team. We’re excited to finally show it to you all!”
