New Film Sales and Distribution Firm, Quantify, Makes Its Move Before Cannes

EXCLUSIVE:

A new film sales and distribution firm called Quantify is scheduled to launch officially at the 2025 Cannes Marché du Film, according to information from Efwebe.

Quantify is spearheaded by an accomplished team at Nu Boyana Studios, Dark Matter Studios, Government Island, and Film Forge Media, focusing on both theatrical and TV ventures. Their aim is to assist filmmakers in producing content that can successfully reach international audiences.

Itzchak Maghen, who previously served as an executive at The Exchange and worked as a consultant for Arclight Films, will take up the role of Vice President of Sales at Quantify. Meanwhile, Dimo Aleksandrov has been named Vice President of Distribution. Both executives will lead the company’s sales initiatives during their debut at Cannes.

We are delighted to introduce Itzchak and Dimo to our team,” stated the Quantify Board. “Their enthusiasm, expertise, and international viewpoint resonate perfectly with our aspirations for Quantify. We firmly believe they will help shape an innovative and cooperative future for the organization.

At Cannes, Quantify aims to make its mark by focusing on connecting filmmakers and distributors via its key values of responsibility, openness, and straightforward dialogue. “Our role isn’t merely about film distribution; we’re also supporting contemporary creators by assisting their narratives in finding suitable platforms,” stated Maghen.

Quantify has several acquisitions currently in progress and intends to unveil its initial batch of releases over the next few weeks.
